I said, "Michael, you can either go upstairs and brush your teeth or sit in your time out spot." He immediately made his decision by announcing "Time out!" and walks over to his time out spot. I made him sit down on the stool in the corner. I said, "Michael, when you're ready to brush your teeth, you can stand up". After only a few seconds of sitting, he stands up and says, "All done!" and proceeds to walk up the stairs, into the bathroom and brush his teeth. Age: 2 years old |
